The "Croatian California", as the region is also called, extends over an area of 20,000 hectares. In addition to a multitude of plants, 310 bird and 150 fish species live here alone.

PARTICIPATION IN THE STRAWBERRY HARVEST - SPARKLING TASTING IN THE WINE CELLAR GRABOVAC
The region is known for its good-quality and juicy strawberries. Take part in this event under the banner Strawberry Days in Croatia.
At our host you will be greeted with a welcome drink and by real pirates, as well as music and a boat trip through the green river - lost city. Local liqueurs and fruits or “fritule” (traditional Croatian dessert - Croatian donuts) are served on the ship. This is followed by a reception on the strawberry plantation with a tasting of the strawberries and a welcome drink.
Take part in the strawberry harvest, naturally accompanied by music. Lunch including drinks, entertainment and music rounds off this day. The self-harvested strawberries are of course also available to take away and included in the travel price.

Since strawberries go well with sparkling wine, we recommend a visit to the Grabovac wine cellar in the afternoon. During a wine tasting, a tour through the cellar awaits us, where types of wine and sparkling wine are presented.
The Grabovac family's experience in grape and wine production has been passed on to new generations for 200 years. Proof of this is the knowledge from 1812 which this family received from the French (Napoleon) authorities for their wine. At that time the Gravbovac family also produced the first Dalmatian sparkling wine "Grabovac".

FIG TASTING AND HARVEST
Enrich your beach holiday at the end of August and beginning of September with another experience: tasting the original figs from the Neretva region. The figs not only taste delicious, they are also very healthy. We offer you the opportunity to enjoy your day on the Norin River and taste the original native Neretva figs. Lunch with drinks and music, boat trip including music and tasting of local liqueurs and schnapps as well as fruit or local fritule pastries. Of course, a farewell gift is also included in the price of this program.
OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER:
MANDARIN HARVEST
In late autumn, when nature is preparing for winter and the days are getting shorter and cooler, we offer you an unforgettable trip. The fertile delta of the Neretva extends from Metković to Ploče and supplies many romantic canals and extensive marshland with water. Due to the mild Mediterranean climate, this area is also called "Croatian California". An aromatic scent hangs over the tangerine plantations, and the sight of the ripe, lush tropical fruits immediately makes you want to harvest.
During the cruise you can enjoy the fantastic views and a special delicacy, air-dried ham with bread, is offered to you on the ship.
Your stay will be rounded off with a nice lunch, animation and music. The self-picked mandarins to take away are of course included in the price.
