PROGRAM SUGGESTION:

DAY 1: Arrival in Belgrade
Arrival in Belgrade, capital of Serbia. Reception by the tour guide, hotel check-in, dinner, overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2: Belgrade
After breakfast we discover this beautiful city with a local guide. After the city tour and free time in the city center, we enjoy a boat trip on the Sava River and the view of Old and New Belgrade. In the evening we taste the world-famous Serbian grill specialties in the Skadarlija quarter, the unique artist and bohemian quarter in the heart of the city.

DAY 3: Belgrade - Užice - Sarajevo
After breakfast we leave Belgrade and drive into the Serbian interior, away from urban centers and enjoy the sights of small towns and mountain villages. Our next stop is Užice - home of the famous “Užički Kajmak” (an original Serbian product - cheese-like cream, which is usually made in Serbian farmhouses). After a delicious lunch where we will of course try the famous “kaymak”, we will drive to the nearby mountain Mećavnik. There we visit a very special village - “Küstendorf”, an ethnic village made of wooden houses, an open-air museum and a film set by the successful Serbian director Emir Kusturica. After visiting the coastal village, we drive over the Drina River to Bosnia and Hercegovina. In the evening we reach our next destination - Sarajevo. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 4: Sarajevo
During a city tour we get to know the state capital Sarajevo. Due to the different faiths lived in Sarajevo, the city is also known as the "Jerusalem of Europe". Orthodox and Catholic churches, mosques and synagogues are only a few steps away from each other and the old town is characterized by an oriental flair. The Ottomans ruled here for over 400 years before the country became part of Austria-Hungary and later Yugoslavia. Islamic-imperial-Slavic mixture of cultural influences can be found everywhere, also in the gastronomy. In a typical restaurant we taste the traditional Bosnian dishes.

DAY 5: Sarajevo - Mostar - Makarska Riviera
After breakfast we leave Sarajevo and continue to Mostar. After visiting the old town and the famous "Stari Most" bridge, we leave the mountainous Bosnia and Hercegovina and reach the most beautiful beaches of the blue Adriatic on the Makarska Riviera.

DAY 6: Boat trip with fish picnic to the island of Brač

On a full-day boat trip we enjoy the Adriatic sun and taste fresh fish grilled by our captain.
The handwriting of the Brač stone cutters and the Brač marble are famous and recognized all over the world. The stonemason school in Pučišća is the only one of its kind in Croatia and one of the few in Europe. It has a very high reputation among professionals.
The students themselves still use old tools that were inherited from the times of the Romans. This tool is about 2000 years old, but modern and new tools are also used. You will experience this and much more on today's excursion. Lunch with fish or meat and Dalmatian wine is also served on the ship.
