PROGRAM SUGGESTION:
DAY 1: Arrival. Welcome drink with our tour guide
DAY 2: Plitvice Lakes National Park
We hike on soft leafy paths and stick dams through the forests of the Plitvice Lakes, which are connected with rushing waterfalls, and enjoy a boat trip in silent motorboats across the crystal clear Kozjak Lake.
Walking time: approx. 4-5 hours, difficulty level = medium, height difference = 300 m
DAY 3: Risnjak National Park
The Risnjak National Park is located about 15 kilometers from Rijeka, in a mountain range in the Gorski kotar. The vast area of 6,400 hectares, which is predominantly overgrown with beech and coniferous trees, offers an ideal habitat for many rare animals and plants, so that even brown bears, lynxes and wolves are at home here.
At an altitude of 690 m above sea level there is a 4,200 m long Leska path, which is suitable for walkers of medium fitness. Here visitors have the unique opportunity to experience forest communities, basins and rocks protected from the wind.
Walking time: approx. 1.5 hours walking time, level of difficulty = easy, altitude difference = 150 m
DAY 4 :City tour of Zadar
After breakfast we continue to Dalmatia to Zadar / Petrčani / Šibenik. With a qualified city guide we explore the remains of the Roman forum and the Byzantine Donatskirche in the modern city of Zadar. We listen to the sea organ, the music of which is generated by the movement of waves. There is time to shop and explore on your own.
DAY 5: Mountain hike in the Paklenica National Park
From Starigrad-Paklenica our path leads between vertical rock faces and through beech and fir forests to the 1118 m high Crni Vrh ("black peak") with a panoramic view. The other way back to Starigrad.
The circular route: Walking time: approx. 8 hours. Difficulty level = difficult, height difference = 1100 m
Easier hike: After about 2.5 hours the same route to the starting point.
Walking time: approx. 6 hours. Difficulty level = difficult, height difference = 600 m

DAY 6: National Park Krka and Šibenik
Boat trip on the emerald green Krka from the small medieval town of Skradin to the heart of the Krka National Park, hike through the romantic river landscape along rushing waterfalls. In the afternoon we visit the city of Šibenik at the Krka estuary with narrow old town streets and a remarkable cathedral within a monumental fortress.
Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours, difficulty level = easy, height difference = 200 m
DAY 7: free day or optional National Park Kornati Islands by boat
One of the most impressive natural phenomena on the Kornati islands are the cliffs on the islands of the Donji Kornati group, which have always been called "corona" (Italian) - the crown, so it is likely that the name Kornati comes from this Italian word . We spend our day on a ship including a boat trip, lunch and drinks and recover from a beautiful week of hiking that we had.
DAY 8: Journey home
All hiking and biking routes, personally researched and described by our hiking and biking guides, including descriptions of difficulty, route length, travel time and altitude difference, are available to you after a specific appointment request for the planned trip.
