It is asparagus season and the best Croatian wild asparagus is known to grow in the Kvarner region. The salty air and bare ground give these “royal vegetables” a particularly bitter taste - not comparable to the white sticks that are known from farms and from the supermarket. Reason enough, but not the only one, to come along on our asparagus hunt.
If the winter was mild, we can already enjoy the first asparagus in March. With sticks and our guide we take a walk on the rocks and through the forest. We have to sharpen our eyes because the thin delicacy is very difficult to see. So the joy is greater, because the greatest reward is a handful of freshly picked asparagus. The most delicious is an omelette or risotto or a healthy salad with boiled eggs.

DAY 1: arrival. Welcome drink with our tour guide
DAY 2: Guided asparagus hunt
After breakfast we take the bus to the wine valley, from there we go on our journey of discovery with our main tool, the sticks - past the old castle in Drivenik, in the field where there are still some abandoned and forgotten pre-Romanesque churches.
DAY 3: Excursion of your choice:
