The Lošinj archipelago is full of quiet, picturesque places with a unique, healing climate, the benefits of which you can enjoy all year round. This is a destination of health, the pleasant Mediterranean climate with over 2,500 hours of sunshine a year. More than 1200 different types of plants grow in the archipelago, 600 of which grow on 17 square kilometers on the island of Unije.
The Dolphin Path is a footpath that runs along the southern side of the island of Lošinj and joins the two coastlines, the western and the eastern side. The name of the path is easy to explain, because from here you have the greatest opportunity to see a playful school of dolphins. A community of around 120 animals live in the aquatorium on the island of Lošinj and most of them have been identified by marks such as scars and cuts on their dorsal fin, the part of the body that is always visible when they come to the surface to breathe air.
