When we say "treasure", we actually think so, because the truffle is rare and a very valued mushroom in gastronomy, the price of which can reach up to 7,000 euros per kilogram of white truffle! Yes, you heard right! The white truffle is actually rarer than the black one, because it is discovered more often in the Istrian forests and that is exactly what we try to find together.
In the search for truffles, our host accompanies us, who trains dogs and who, together with a special type of pig, are the only way to find truffles. Let's go in search of the treasure!

PROGRAM SUGGESTION:
DAY 1: Arrival. Welcome drink with our tour guide
DAY 2: Excursion to search for truffles in Istria
Reception in the town of Buzet in Istria with music and a welcome drink. Picnic on site: wines, juices, water, cheese with truffles, figs, olive oil. The guests are warmly welcomed by the family.Our animation program includes education about truffles and truffle hunting with lots of fun and entertainment at the same time. After a little refreshment, we start with the organized truffle hunt, whereby we are dealing with real connoisseurs: in the company of truffle dogs and our animation team, we try our luck and even learn. The truffle hunt takes about 30 minutes. We learn how the dogs are trained and how the truffles are searched for. At the end of the program we have lunch in the restaurant including 4 courses (the second course is homemade pasta with truffles). The mood doesn't let up, of course - here, too, our live music is waiting for you to dance and as a farewell, every guest receives a nice souvenir gift.
